Thanks to everyone for the topics in this forum.

Jonathan Goldman talks about vibrational healing and a key formula for healing, which states: healing = vibration + intention.

I don't want to decrease the potency of the didgeridoo by discussing it, as others have pointed out, but we all know that the didgeridoo is very powerful vibrational tool. Imagine the positive vibes we can all send out if we focus on a healing intentino while playing the didge.

Let's keep this forum open for any discussions about this.

Peace and love,
Legolas

Legolas,
I don't think it decreases the potency of the didj to talk about how we are inspired, influenced and benefited by it. It could even enhance it when done with respect.

I think that concern refers more to the dilution of Aboriginal culture by over commercialization and lack of respect. I believe it is essential to respect and acknowledge the Aaboriginal cultures that inspire our relationship with the didjeridoo.

In America, Native Americans call non-indians trying to become indians members of the Wannabe Tribe (want to be). Of course, a sincere person who truly has a heartfelt appreciation and desire to learn and be part of a native culture is usually accepted - that is in fact a traditional thing to do in many native cultures. Some serious didj players, like my friend (whom I have not seen in way too long) Randy Graves for example, may even be adopted into Aboriginal families, given Aboriginal names and family relationships.

Here is a good article on didj healing by Randy Graves:

We will make an exception on this excellent article and permit this link (Bonzo)

A Google search on Randy Graves will give you lots more interesting stuff, including the link to what I think are probably the best insdtructional CD's on didj playinng, from beginner to real serious player (I did some workshops with him when he was developing these techniques and he is an awesome teacher):

Hi Rob,

Quote:

Sorry about that interview page...I didn't even consider that it was associated with a didj site...the page itself has no commercial elements on it

This quote can be found on the forum Didj meditation at the topic
Mantra’s do absolutely nothing to me!

Believe me Rob, I find it sometimes hard to decide what to do! I do realize you like the readers to show the article only, but we have made rules before we launched this Forum. Unfortunate this is one of them ...... Perhaps, if the articles is not to long you can copy it into your message with mentioning the source.

As you can see in the above entry we had second thoughts and permitted the link. Sorry for the inconvenience

I'm glad the above link was allowed. As I learn the dij, and research its history, articles like the above are so valuable.
