I think a few things are important here.

One:
If you want the stop the crack from growing you will have to do something about it!

Two:
Is the crack easily reachable from the inside? If so see procedure below

Three:
Is the didge treated on the inside whit an inner coating? If so this will have to be removed before gluing the crack together

Four:
Does the didj have paintings on the outside you like to save as much as possible? If so repairs form the outside will be impossible without damaging the paintings!

Best thing to do is to curve out the crack from the inside.
Carefully create a V-shape without enlarge the crack opening.
Do save the wood that comes out from curving!
If you have curved-out the crack over the full length you can make a mixture of wood dust from your own didge and white wood glue. Fill the crack whit this mixture and be sure to leave no openings. If required add extra white wood glue!
Wind a rope around the didge (Or big hose clamps) to close the crack completely and let your didge dry for several days!
To avoid surface damage when using hose clamps be sure to put something in between the wood and the clamp!

If the crack can't be reached from the inside you can try to poor in a thin mixture of wood glue and water. Lay down the didj so the glue layer runs over the crack. Let it dray for at least a week before you can play it again!

And as last solution if the above don't do the job and you want to save your didge you will have to curve to crack from the outside. But for sure this will cause scares on the outside surface ......
