Hello everyone. As I get ready to enjoy Christmas latter this week with my family, it causes me to wonder if the Yolnu culture celebrates Christmas in any form (decorations, gifts, etc.). Here in the USA, most families participate in the "Holidays" even if there are no specific Christian beliefs. So I am not trying to start up a "religeous" thread or anything. Just wondering about Christmas from a typical Aboriginal point of view. Or do they observe some other festive holiday at this time of year, or another time of year for that matter.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all (or happy winter time holiday if you observe something else... or have a nice day if you celebrate nothing). Smile

Allan
