Greetings,

I am new to the forum, and to the ways of the didge. So far, this place has help the answers to many questions I've had so far. Thanks for spreading the knowledge!

Me, I live in Canada, and as a result, humidity rises and falls with the seasons, so I figured I'd better seal my stick to prolong it's life (it's Db Malle Euc).

So far the outside has been polyurethaned, and is looking great.

The dilemma now is, how to treat the bore. From what I understand, there are 3 options:

- Varnish/Polyurethane
- Epoxy
- Oil (Tung, Euc, Tea, Lemon..)

Before I do anythign else, though'd I'd throw these questions out there:

1. Can you varnish/urethan a bore that has already been treated with oil of some kind?

2. Alternatively, can you strip varnish/urethane from a painted bore and treat with oil?

Any input greatly appreciated.

Life is sweet.
