If it's the new IE ver 7 it has pop-up blocker built int and turned on by default. You might need to turn it to "Off" and try that. also in your settings, in tools, Internet Options, security, you might have to change the way Active X files can be handled. I believe it's a "per user" situation, and since there are so many combinations as to what each person has for settings it is hard to just diagnose.
