Okay so I ended up just getting some wax from my beekeeper friend. Unfortunately, when cutting off the old wax, I made some little indents into the wood and the varnish. My didge is black and now has made 4 or 5 tiny wood-coloured spots about the size of this ----> 0
I shouldn't have used scissors to get off the old wax....
What can I now do to remedy this? I haven't put on the new wax yet, so is it okay to cover these 4 or 5 indents up with the mouthpiece wax? These indents are only 2 centimetres from the top of the mouthpiece.....
Or should I buy a bit of paint and varnish and cover them up myself before putting wax on?
If so, what type of paint and what type of varnish/lacquer should I use? Is spray-on lacquer enough?
Thanks for your advice!!!
