Hi,

I want to paint my new didge with my own design and have it painted with "authentic" paint.
Did some experimenting with home made egg-tempera paint.

Made some red and yellow paint from ocre that i collected in Rousillion (France), black with grinded charcoal and white with grinded egg shell.

The colors are beautiful! Even when painted direct on a piece of wood. Did not use any foundation / gesso for the paint.
It sticks to the wood so far and the paint has no cracks yet.

If you have any experience with this kind of paint on a didgeridoo, please let me know.
All tips & tricks are welcome!

Regards,
Mike

Play on folks,
